Our Beginners had their FIRST Solo Contest at PHMS on Thursday, April 22. They all played well!!
The judge from each room awarded one Exemplary Award and two Outstanding Awards.

On February 27th, our 7/8th grade Advanced Band students participated in a Solo and Ensemble Contest. In this contest they play a solo (they are featured with a piano part to accompany them) and some students played in an ensemble (a small group performance).
Along with PHMS, Stafford, Griffin, and Staley participated.
Our students were fantastic!!
112 Students received a "Superior" on their solo
13 Students received an "Excellent" on their solo
21 Ensembles received a "Superior" rating
3 ensembles received an "Excellent"
Out of 9 rooms, 6 of our students were the exemplary student!!
